Current Design
The current design featured on Zabimaru Network is version one with the title Rising Hope. It features Allen Walker of the manga series D.Gray-Man, written and illustrated by Katsura Hoshino. If you take a closer look at the images in the background though, you'll notice one of the images is a screen capture of the third opening theme song of the anime series. This design is in dedication to Allen Walker's innocence, Crown Clown.
The color scheme is that of gray, a few shades of blue and an attempt of yellow/orange and red. The lovely splatter brushes used on the design are courtesy of Leo's Resources (Jigsaw Puzzle). Fonts on the banner are Hannibal Lecter NFI Demo (cursive) and Geosans Light (sans-serif), both downloaded from DaFont.
The Technical Stuff
The design is coded in pure DIV/CSS with valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2.1. There are a total of six containers used in this single column design to help make it work properly. The design has been tested in the following browsers: Firefox 2, Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 7, Avant 11.6, Netscape Navigator 9, Opera 9.5 and Safari 3 (Beta for Windows). I coded this design in an 1280x800 screen resolution, but (hopefully) made sure it fits properly into 800x600 screen resolutions.
